Vaping has been declared an epidemic by the CDC, affecting both adolescents and adults – meaning, the number of incidents involving vaping and associated devices at schools will continue to increase. What steps can schools and districts take to mitigate this issue and how will teachers and administrators address students who are caught vaping? This interactive presentation will explain what Education Code sections can be used in most circumstances and what other means of correction could be implemented before resorting to more serious consequences such as suspension from school.
